This summer, the latest work from Dutch brand Piet Boon is arriving at Arkitektura and we are very excited about sharing it with you. With pieces for dining, living and outdoor, Piet Boon’s functional, comfortable and timeless design marries traditional European craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetic. This year’s collection expands and develops on its successful designs.
Beyond furniture, Piet Boon Studios have transformed the aesthetic and function of buildings across the world: In New York, they changed an office building into luxury apartments, in Antwerp a church into a restaurant. Piet Boon’s roots lay in construction and craftsmanship but, as his work developed, so did his attention and he began making work that is both beautiful and lasting, with an emphasis on his original passion: natural materials.
Piet Boon has come to embody “Dutch design” but because of his collaborations with major global brands, like Nike and Range Rover, his studio’s sensibility has expanded beyond his place of origin and become international.
