SkLO (the Czech word for “glass”) lighting and objects are now on display at our San Francisco showroom. We’ve selected some of the best examples of what makes SkLO so special.
We are continuously pursuing the very best products to provide to our clients. Items that will impact their lives and provide life-long inspiration. We love design; it’s what drives us. It is what compels us to collaborate with like-minded companies like SkLO, who share our same vision for and devotion to good design.
SkLO produces two collections: SkLO:LIT, a collection of lighting, and SkLO:OBJECT, a collection of accessories. These collections are produced by Czech master artisans in the ancient craft of glassblowing.
The SkLO collections are designed by SkLO founders, Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak in Healdsburg California. The influence of their backgrounds as jeweler, metalsmith, artist, and architect reveals itself in the design of each piece. Karen and Paul share an interest in restraint, paring back to get to the simplest expression of an object, yet to do so without sacrificing perhaps the most important consideration—beauty.
